             abstract = "This article has the scope to analyze deforestation in the 
                         municipality of Irituia, from the year 2000 to 2013 and qualify 
                         the use of land in accordance with the data TerraClass project. 
                         Incumbent to observe the completion of this article, used the 
                         files available in digital Prodes where the files were obtained by 
                         means of Geography Information Systems and remote sensing tools. 
                         It was found that the available information can be used to make a 
                         diagnosis on the human action in a given territory. It was found 
                         that the entire municipal area is included in consolidated areas 
                         or consolidation of the most dynamic productive activities that 
                         require maintenance actions and / or intensification of existing 
                         activities aimed at ecological, social and economic sustainability 
                         in accordance with the Zoning ecological Economic Par{\'a}. 
                         According to the information Prodes, in 2000, the county was 
                         67.69% deforested, this treadmill in 2013 this percentage rose to 
                         87,37%. Regarding the occupation of vegetation cover in the 
                         municipality TerraClass data from the project, 46% of the 
                         territory is covered by Irituia various forms vegetation. Moreover 
                         it is noteworthy that there are certain regions regeneration of 
                         vegetation in various successional stages, with the presence of 
                         few primary forests.",
